Part time learners need to work in a salon and come to class only one day per week
La Louve PHA does not close in school holidays for part time learners.
Classes not attended and or work not completed will lead to your formal hours not being recorded
A portfolio of Evidence needs to be completed per level as part of formative assessment
Summative assessments achievements will be submitted to the Seta and forwarded to the host salon and parents.
Integrated summative assessments will take place in practical and theory
Informal hours (salon hours) makes up two thirds of your training
Lecturers from La Louve will from time to time visit your salon and qualified to narrow the gap between college and salon
No certificates can be issued without external moderation from the Seta.
All certificates will only be issued after moderation.
Trade test application can be done only after level 4 external moderation
An additional class is available on pre-trade test training
- PARTTIME LEARNING
- REGISTER AT LA LOUVE PRIVATE HAIR ACADEMY AND A QUALIFIED SALON OF YOUR CHOICE
- ATTEND CLASS ONE DAY PER WEEK. CLASSES WILL BE EITHER ON A MONDAY OR A TUESDAY, TO COMPLETE FORMAL PART OF TRAINING, SIMULTANEOUSLY
- WORK IN THE SALON THE REST OF THE WEEK ON YOUR INFORMAL HOURS.
- AFTER COMPLETING FORMAL AND INFORMAL HOURS, LOGBOOK AND EVIDENCE LOG APPLY FOR FINAL SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT AND/OR TRADE TEST
